We buy catalytic converters from cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, as well as diesel particulate filters (DPFs), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs), original equipment units, and qualifying aftermarket units.

Individual sellers must provide valid government-issued photo identification and the required vehicle registration, title, or other qualifying ownership documentation. All transactions are subject to applicable Nevada requirements.

Who qualifies for a commercial supplier account?

Automotive recycling companies, licensed salvage yards, auto dismantlers, repair shops and repair networks, catalytic converter and core buyers, commercial scrap suppliers, and businesses with documented recurring material. Account approval is subject to business verification, material review, documentation requirements, and program suitability.

What business documents are required?

Commercial accounts must provide their legal business name, business address, primary contact information, current business license, material type, estimated converter quantity, expected supply frequency, and preferred delivery or shipping method.

What is the minimum volume for direct refinery processing?

Accepted Answer

The direct refinery processing program is generally designed for qualifying lots of 600 or more catalytic converters.

Can smaller commercial lots be sold by the piece?

Yes. Smaller commercial lots may be evaluated through our local purchasing program.

How does assay-based settlement work?

Accepted Answer

A representative sample of your processed lot is analyzed by the refinery laboratory to determine the assayed platinum, palladium, and rhodium content. Settlement is then calculated using the assay results, applicable payable percentages, metal prices, processing terms, and fees.

Settlement documentation may include received material count, processed material weight, representative assay results, assayed platinum, palladium, and rhodium content, metal prices used for settlement, applicable payable percentages, processing charges and other deductions, and final settlement calculation.

Can suppliers outside Nevada ship material?

Yes. Qualified commercial suppliers can ship catalytic converter material to our North Las Vegas facility after their account has been reviewed and approved. Shipping instructions must be confirmed before material is sent.

Should I ship material before account approval?

No. Do not ship catalytic converter material before your account is approved and shipping instructions are confirmed.
