About Western Automotive Cores
A licensed recycling and processing facility in North Las Vegas serving individuals and businesses throughout Southern Nevada. We buy catalytic converters, recycle computers and electronics, and provide secure hard drive destruction — all at our North Las Vegas location.
Who We Are
Western Automotive Cores is a licensed processing facility based in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 2019, we have been buying and processing catalytic converters from individual sellers, automotive repair shops, dismantlers, and commercial suppliers throughout Southern Nevada.
We process catalytic converter material through direct refinery channels. Commercial suppliers receive settlements calculated from refinery assay results, applicable payable percentages, metal prices, processing terms, and fees — based on the assayed precious metal content of the processed material. Individual sellers receive market-based quotes based on converter type and current market conditions.
In addition to catalytic converter buying, we offer computer and e-waste recycling at no charge for individuals and businesses, and secure hard drive destruction at no charge with Certificates of Destruction available. Whether you're selling a converter, dropping off old electronics, or need data security compliance, we're here to help.
Individuals & Small Volume Sellers
Have a catalytic converter, old computers, or hard drives to dispose of?
Western Automotive Cores provides a straightforward local option for individuals — whether you're selling a catalytic converter, recycling electronics, or need a hard drive securely destroyed.
Individual sellers of catalytic converters must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and required vehicle documentation before completing a transaction.
Businesses & Commercial Suppliers
We work with automotive repair shops, salvage yards, dismantlers, core buyers, and commercial suppliers throughout Southern Nevada and across the United States. Businesses can also use our e-waste recycling and hard drive destruction services at no charge for IT asset disposal and data security compliance.
Commercial supplier settlements are calculated from refinery assay results, applicable payable percentages, metal prices, processing terms, and fees. Commercial accounts must provide a copy of their current business license before establishing an account.
